We use only the very best Stanton direct drive turntables and we carry several head shells with different magnetic cartridges and stylus combinations so we have one that is right for your recording. Others tend to use just 2 combinations for LP's and 78's, AVID TECH uses several cartridges made by SHURE and Stanton cartridges and stylus set ups including stylus of varying length depending on your 78 recording.

How to send 78 rpm disks to Avid Tech for conversion to CD
Carefully wrap each record in bubble wrap and place between sheets of cardboard or if your records are heavy or fragile consider purchasing a sheet of ply timber or particle/mbf from your local hardware store to support and protect your records in transit. If you need more advice please call us.
